The models are suitable for assessing the impact of heat exchanger operation on the heat pump performance, as well as estimating the impact of liquid/vapour maldistribution and effect of end plates on both PHE evaporator and heat pump performances.

The models are implemented in MATLAB 2017b. Python and CoolProp (or REFPROP) are required for fluid properties calculations. An extensive description of the system requirements is reported in the model documentation
