Number of citations to individual journals in the Nobel Prize Scientific Background Material (SBM) in physics
Two Matlab data files containing the number of citations to individual journals in the Nobel Prize Scientific Background Material (SBM) in physics. The "Award_year..." data files counts references to journals for every year that the Nobel Prize was awarded, while the data set "Publication_year..." instead counts references based on the publication year of the reference.
The data sets contains information both on references to the award-winning work of the Laureates, as well as references to background scientific works relevant for the awarded Nobel Prize.
The "Award_year..." data file contains the following six data sets:
"award_year_citations_in_SBM_all" - The number of all citations in the SBM as function of Nobel Prize award year and the list of journals.
"award_year_citations_in_SBM_Laureates" - The number of citations to only the work of Laureates for the given award year in the SBM as function of Nobel Prize award year and the list of journals.
"award_year_journal_list_all" - The list of journals for all references in the SBM
"award_year_journal_list_Laureates" - The list of journals that Laureates published in, as referenced in the SBM
"award_year_years_list_all" - The list of years that the Nobel Prize was awarded which the data set covers
"award_year_years_list_Laureates" - The list of years that the Nobel Prize was awarded which the data set covers
The "Publication_year..." data file contains the following six data sets:
"publication_year_citations_in_SBM_all" - The number of all citations in the SBM as function of publication year of the reference and the list of journals.
"publication_year_citations_in_SBM_Laureates" - The number of citations in the SMB to only the work of Laureates as function of the publication year of the reference and as function of Nobel Prize award year and the list of journals.
"publication_year_journal_list_all" - The list of journals for all references in the SBM
"publication_year_journal_list_Laureates" - The list of journals that Laureates published in, as referenced in the SBM
"publication_year_years_list_all" - The list of years that the references in the SMB covers
"publication_year_years_list_Laureates" - The list of years that the references in the SMB covers considering only the references to Laureates
