Data from the paper of Fuhrman et al. (2023) is provided. This includes:

  • Surface elevation time series generated from the directionally-spread, irregular-wave theory of Madsen & Fuhrman (2012);
  • Surface elevation maps generated by the fully-nonlinear Pseudospectral Fourier-Legendre (PFL) wave model of Klahn et al. (2021);
  • A Matlab function for generating the new probability density function for the surface elevation in an irregular wave field, as derived and discussed in the paper.

This research has been financially supported by the Independent Research Fund Denmark project STORM: STatistics and fOrces on stRuctures from extreMe water waves in finite depth (grant ID: 10.46540/2035-00064B). This support is greatly appreciated.
