Data for a study and paper in "Evolutionary Applications": DOI: 10.1111/eva.13725
The file is a comma-separated file, where each row gives a phenotypes and sample information one of a total of 2799 juvenile brown trout (Salmo trutta, L.) raised under a common garden setup testing growth response to temperature treatment for family crosses with different genetic compositions. Each individual fish is denoted by its number ('Fish_ID'), the temperature treatment it was tested for ("Temperature_treatment"), total length in cm ("length"), wet weight in grammes ("weight"), ID and total length in cm of its father ("Sire_ID", "Sire_L"), ID and total length in cm of its mother ("Dam_ID", "Dam_L"), family number ("family_no"), type of cross ("cross_type"), age in days ("age_from_fert"), degree days since fertilisation ("deg_days"), date where phenotype data were recorded ("SampleDAY",SampleMONTH","SampleYEAR"), date where dam and sire were crossed ("CrossDAY",CrossMONTH","crossYEAR"). Notation follows data in tables and figures in Bekkevold et al. (accepted).
