This dataset consists of data from 147 water samples collected during the Yukon Coast expedition in July-August 2015. Water samples were collected over the water column (surface water down to max. 60 m) at 7 stations. Those stations covered different hydrographic regimes, with stations under influence of the outflow from the Mackenzie River as well as marine influence shown through high salinity. In this dataset we present results on dissolved organic matter, specifically the dissolved organic carbon (DOC) concentrations, colored dissolved organic matter (CDOM) absorption coefficient at 350 nm (a350) and the spectral slope of the CDOM absorption between 275-295 nm (S_UV(275-295)). We additionally present the correspondent salinity data for each sample.
