This dataset contains supplementary material regarding the development process of the Multiple Narrative Decision Analysis (MNDA) trade-off tool.

The MNDA tool is a decision-making framework to navigate trade-offs regarding sustainability. Applies a tailor-made model that ranks alternatives based on multiple criteria. Features a systematic sensitivity analysis that uses narratives and weights elicited from experts of different backgrounds, avoiding bias in the analysis. Results in more structured and transparent decisions.

This supplementary dataset contain two files:

Interview protocol, analysis, and data.xlsx
Several interviews were conducted to extract and analyse preferences from several stakeholders in a manufacturing company, in the context of a sustainability trade-off. The interviews followed the Deck of Cards methods of weight elicitation and analysis, together with a think-aloud protocol. This file includes the interview protocol, analysis spreadsheet, and anonymised results

Workshops and participants.xlsx
Workshops were conducted to evaluate the tool and collect feedback in order to improve it. This file contains details regarding the workshops, their participants, and data collection procedures.

This item is supplementary material to:
Parolin, G., Arnbjerg, J., McAloone, T., Pigosso, D.
