UAS LiDAR, Sonar and Radar Altimetry dataset for river hydraulic characterization of Ryå stream

The different folders contain:

UAS_sonar_L1

  • GNSS data from the reference base station
  • GNSS data from the rover
  • Sonar measurements with depth-measured values
  • RTK reference water surface elevation

UAS_sonar_L2:

  • Sonar_georef_*: Georeferenced sonar data with GNSS coordinates
  • GNSS_time*: GNSS timestamp and corresponding coordinated
  • Sonar_time*: Sonar timestamp, measured depth and NMEA sentence
  • Sonar_georef_all_xsec*: Georeferenced sonar cross-sections with distance to the river centreline

UAS_sonar_L3:

  • Xsec_sonar_"xsec number"_"chainage": Processed sonar cross-sections with bathymetry profile

Sonar_LiDAR_xsec:

  • Xsec_gt_"xsec number"_"chainage": Combined cross-sections with sonar bathymetry elevation nd LiDAR land elevation

UAS_ancillary_datasets:

  • Area_lidar_Continuos_xsec: Cross-section area to clip LiDAR photon cloud
  • Rya_chainage_32N: Chainage file with 1-meter spacing between chainage points
  • xsec_day3: Shapefile with reference cross-section location

UAS_Lidar_L1:

  • cloud_points_*: contains the LiDAR cloud point measurements

UAS_Lidar_L2:

  • Lidar_continous_dvr90_index: Contains the clipped LiDAR cross-sections with the reference chainage point and the DVR90 elevation
  • Lidar_DS_DVR90: Contains the clipped LiDAR downstream cross-section where only LiDAR data is available.

UAS_Lidar_L3:

  • Xsec_"number": Processed LiDAR cross-section for the downstream portion, considering rectangular shape for the submerged portion

sonar_Lidar_gt_xsec:

  • Xsec_gt"number": LiDAR-sonar cross-section where ground truth data is available
  • RTK_merged_xsec: RTK ground truth cross-sections data

UAS_Radar_altimetry_WSE:

  • GPSnet_"xx"m_handover: WSE measurements processed for a "xx" filtering meter window
  • GPSnet_"xx"m_processed: Corresponding raw data
