X-ray diffraction bulk analysis of brick clay and sewage sludge ash

X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis was carried out with a PanAnalytical X’Pert PRO (CuKα radiation), wavelength of 1.54 Å, with operation settings 45 kV and 40 mA.XRD bulk analysis was performed on dried brick clay (7 d, 50°C) and dried SSA (24 h, 105°C). 1 g of the sample was crushed to ≤ 10 μm and backloaded into the sample holder. The samples were measured between 2θ = 4-70°, with a slit of 6.6 mm, step size of 2θ = 0.01°/2 sec. Diffraction peak analysis for the 1 bulk analysis was carried out in X’Pert Pananalytical HighScore Plus, with data from the International Centre for Diffraction Data (ICDD-2).
