Dissolved organic matter in Central-Eastern Arctic Ocean during the NABOS 2018 cruise
This dataset consists of data from 318 water samples collected during the NABOS cruise in August-September 2018. Water samples were collected over the water column (down to max. 250 m) at 58 stations. Those stations covered different hydrographic regimes, with stations under influence of the Atlantic inflow into the Arctic Ocean in the Nansen basin, as well as the influence of riverine inputs on the Siberian shelves. In this dataset we present results on dissolved organic matter, specifically the dissolved organic carbon (DOC) concentrations, colored dissolved organic matter (CDOM) absorption coefficient at 350 nm (a350) and the spectral slope of the CDOM absorption between 275-295 nm (S275_295). We additionally present the correspondent salinity data for each sample.
