<b>Numerical hub-lidar data from LES-generated </b><b>turbulence boxes using HAWC2 v13.1 and DTU 10MW </b><b>reference wind turbine </b>

<p dir="ltr">This dataset contains synthetic lidar measurements from a pulsed lidar mounted on the hub / spinner of the DTU 10MW wind turbine model. The data was generated using the numerical hub-lidar sensor feature in <a href="https://tools.windenergy.dtu.dk/home/HAWC2/" rel="noreferrer" target="_blank">HAWC2 v13.1</a>.</p><p dir="ltr">For the inflow conditions, LES-generated turbulence boxes for wind speeds 8.0, 12.0, 15.0 and 20.0 m/s were used, where 16 different time periods were extracted from a 4-hour LES simulation per wind speed, generating 64 inflow cases.</p><p dir="ltr">A similar database has been released previously using <a href="https://figshare.com/s/2fc91c3d09bf5dbf171f" rel="noreferrer" target="_blank">Mann-generated turbulence boxes</a> for wind speeds of 8.0, 11.4, and 18.0 m/s, under the IEC Normal Turbulence Model.</p><p dir="ltr">For more detailed information, please refer to the documentation.</p><p dir="ltr">The dataset and repository were curated at the Technical University of Denmark by Esperanza Soto Sagredo (ORCID 0000-0002-5645-2335, espa@dtu.dk), Jennifer M.
