Nikola Vasiljevic is a researcher at DTU Wind Energy. He is an expert in wind lidar instrumentation, wind sensor metrology, and wind energy data engineering and stewardship. He developed, established, and maintains ‘the long-range WindScanner system’, a mobile infrastructure for atmospheric and wind energy research. Since 2017 he has a leading role in applying FAIR data principles in the wind energy domain and for lidar digitalization. He represents DTU Wind Energy in various national and international data forums. From 2019 he is acting as the Research Data Alliance (RDA) Ambassador for Engineering, Technology and Wind Energy. Within the RDA he is a co-chair of the Danish node of the RDA and Research Data Management in Engineering Interest Group. He is a member of the IEA Wind Task 32 advisory board.
